A Note about the Game

Four teams with differing philosophies, as described below, play AWARE. The game is played on the forums at Immersion Unlimited, one of the places where characters post and communicate with the players. Each team has its own board at Immersion Unlimited. By joining a team, a player has access to that team's board and can be as active as he or she chooses.

Updates, puzzles and other "general" information is also posted at www.unfiction.com. The forums at unfiction and the chat rooms there, like this guide, do not exist in the world of AWARE. Nonetheless, information found on unfiction may accidentally or intentionally be used by people from other teams. as a result,teams vary in their approach to posting information on unfiction; similarly, players/lurkers who are following the story and solving the puzzles team vary in their approach on posting comments, solves and partial solves. Nothing in the game rules prohibit or limit posting on any forum, however, unfiction as a player's resource is off-limits to characters.

Where is Tobi? The groups are scrambling to find him, each for their own purpose.

Ideltech-leader Marcus Thesburg Wants to find Tobi to destroy it. Marcus is in hiding after the murders of his friends Jude Williams and Marty Manson and the destruction of the new Ideltech building.

Restorers- leader Thad Tidwell Wants to protect privacy. Was apparently murdered around Jun 29th while on the phone leaving a message for one of his group members. Coroner's report confirmed his death.

Omniscient Eyes - leader Alecia Church Wants to use Tobi for her own purposes. Known to have instigated a theft from the new Ideltech building (Ideltech employee database and some software related to TOBI). Her organization of spies and agents is allegedly responsible for the murders of Jude, Marty and Thad, and the destruction of the Ideltech building.

AWARE- leader Professor Roddington Wants to protect Tobi and thinks of it as a child that can learn.
